Where are you located?
A:Celene’s is located 7-10 minutes from Downtown Cleveland
Q:What are your hours of operation?
A:Celene’s is open 7 days week via online, email, phone. Celene's is a State of Ohio Cottage Food Production Operation. We do not have a retail shop.
Q:Can I stop by and sample your cakes, cupcakes etc.?
A:Celene's is an online business. We offer face to face appointments for
our wedding cake customers and for cakes that are $150 and above.
We have created many Exquisite. Delicious Celene's creations working with our customers via email and phone order.
Q:What are your payment policies for non-wedding cakes?
A:All orders must be paid for at the time the order is placed. No exceptions.
We accept debit/credit cards with Mastercard, Visa, or Discover logos. We can also arrange to meet with you to make a cash payment within a week of your event. If your order has not been paid for then unfortuntely we will be unable to complete the order.
Q:Do you require a deposit for wedding cakes?
A:Yes a deposit is required at the time your wedding cake is booked.
Minimum deposit is $100. Balance for cake is due 3 weeks prior to
wedding date.
Q:Is there a minimum serving amount for wedding cakes?
A:Yes, we require a minimum serving amount of 100 guests for wedding cakes. If you have a smaller guest list we can make your cake however the cake will need to be picked up and pricing will be charged at standard wedding cake per guest charge.
Q:Do you charge a fee for a wedding cake tasting appointment?
A:No. At this time we do not charge a fee. Keep in mind that when you setup an appointment we bake specific for your appointment. We ask that
no more than 2 additional people attend with the bride
and groom If you need to cancel as much advance notice as possible is greatly appreciated.
Q:How far do you deliver?
A:We deliver within a 15-20 mile radius. If your reception venue is further arrangements can be made and an additional mileage fee will be charge. We will be able to quote that price prior to a contract commitment.
Q:Do you deliver and what is your fee?
A:We deliver wedding cakes or cakes that are tiered. All other cakes will need to be picked up by the customer.
Q:How far in advance should I order my cake?
A:Celene’s is an on demand specialty bakery which means
we don't have prebaked cakes available for pickup.
We require that an order is placed and we will provide you with a freshly baked product for your event. The sooner you order the better off. If you are ordering a wedding cake it is best to book your date 3-6 months ahead as prime wedding season dates go fast. Be sure to view our “Open Wedding Dates” link to see a listing of open dates.This document is updated frequently. Celene’s only books 4 weddings per weekend.
Q:Do you make erotic cakes?
A:While we are not judgemental of what customers order Celene's is a
PG-13 business. For customers who request adult themed cakes we will be happy to create a conservative design.
